The dress code will be fun semi-formal. Guests are highly encourage to wear something vintage inspired, bright colors, or funky patterns! Please avoid colors reserved for the bride. Ladies, feel free to wear a long or midi dress or dressy separates/jumpsuit! Plan for the temperature to drop at night- bring a shawl, sweater or coat! Please note- there are a few grassy areas guest will walk through so block heels or flats would be recommended. Guys are encouraged to wear a suit or sports coat with dress pants! Please no jeans!
We cannot accommodate additional guests, we can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be addressed as (Your Name) + (Guest) if a plus one has been given to you. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day!
Ubers and Taxis will be avalible to bring you to the venue, but there is limited service to this area to bring you back to Richmond. Please plan to either have a designated driver or arrange for a pick up via taxi or scheduled uber. We are providing a shuttle to and from the Hilton Hotwl in Short pump. The bus will leave at 2:45pm to ensure prompt arrival to the venue at 3pm. The same bus will leave the venue at 10:30pm to drop people back off at the Hilton. The bus allows up to 55 passengers. Please let Kaitlyn and Steven know if you plan on using the shuttle. If you plan on ubering to the venue and using the shuttle back please let Kaitlyn or Steven know.
Unfortunately, no. The only kids that will be at the wedding are the ones involved in the ceremony. We love your kids, but want you to have a great time without worrying! Thanks for understanding.
Everything will happen at the same place, Avonlea Farm!
The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior. There will be a parking attending to assist with your vehicle and golf carts to escort you to the ceremony site. There is a restroom avalible near the reception site- please ask the golf cart drive for a pit stop if you feel like you’d need to use it before, during or directly after the ceremony. We understand that Avonlea Farm is a little ways away from Richmond so please plan accordingly!
