Travel Note

A Note to Our Guests

We understand that travel prices are high as our wedding is Labor Day Weekend and the world is getting back to normal. These are just two hotels that we have room blocks at, however, there are a number of different hotels and AirBNB's in the area. If you are planning on booking a hotel, please stay where you feel comfortable. Please text or call Lindsay or Andrew with any questions you may have!

Uber & Lyft

As the world returns to normal, Ubers and Lyfts in Massachusetts can often take longer than normal to get. If you choose to travel via these methods, we recommend scheduling them in advance.

If you are looking to rent a car, there are a number of available options at Boston Logan International Airport. As it is a holiday weekend, we suggest booking ASAP if you would like to do so. Downtown Plymouth is 42 miles, about a 55 minute drive from Boston with no traffic.

Train

Massachusetts Commuter Rail

To get from Boston to Plymouth, the Commuter Rail is a great option if you are not looking to rent a car. The Commuter Rail offers Wi-Fi onboard. To get to the Commuter Rail, you will follow the signs to the Silver Line train when you arrive at Logan. From there, you will take the train to South Station. When you arrive at South Station, go upstairs to the main concourse where you will see the Commuter Rail Tracks and signage, To get to Plymouth, locate the Kingston Line. The schedule for the train can be found at the link below. Tickets are $14 and the ride is about 1 hour. When you arrive in Kingston, the Fairfield Inn is a 3 minute Uber or Lyft ride and the Hotel 1620 is 10 minute ride.
