Traditional Latin Mass
We wanted to give everybody some quick info to help make our day flow with ease. Our ceremony starts at 12:00pm, so please be present and seated by 11:45am. With that said, please prepare to be seated for awhile. Eat breakfast beforehand! Our ceremony is not like what you'd typically expect: in and out in a half hour. Our marriage vows will take place first, and will be followed by an hour long Latin Mass celebration. If the church gets too hot, or you are feeling overwhelmed by the length, you can quietly excuse yourself out the back of the church. If you think this could be you, then maybe sit in the back of the crowd.
Please try to take in all the sights, smells, and sounds of the mass. Don't feel like you have to try to keep up with understanding the Latin translations in the pamphlets! Take it in as an experience, knowing you are in God's presence. And witnessing the sacrament of marriage of course, as Mark and Chelsea, who were once two, will become one.
