Bride
Lily didn't expect to find her future husband in Sacramento when she finally expanded the range on her Bumble app (from 5 miles to 10 miles) but is grateful that Hunter was honest and respectful in their first meeting. She appreciates his sense of humor and the kind nature in which he treats her. She cannot wait to celebrate with everyone and join the two families together on May 3rd!
Groom
Hunter feels like the luckiest man in the world to have found Lily in a 1 year program at UC Davis. He is especially grateful that he met someone that inspires him to continually grow and improve, and who treats him well. He is excited to meet all of Lily's family and friends and expects to have a weekend to remember forever!
Maid of Honor
Beverly and Lily were matched as "belay buddies" for medical school solely based primarily on the fact that they share a fiery love for Taylor Swift. Beverly is going to be a Family Medicine resident next year with the goal of opening a clinic by day and club by night. Her alter-ego is "Beverage." Make sure you ask her to show you why!
Co-Best Man
Max has been Hunters brother for 28 years and is best known for ripping the heads off of Hunter's toys as retaliation for his incessant bullying. Currently working at the family business, Max is capable, positive and always has a smile on his face. He is ready to help Hunter and Lily and their guests with a wonderful wedding weekend!
Maid of Honor
Emily and Lily first bonded over their love for thrifting and then attempted to bond over exercise but Lily simply could not keep up. Emily loves to study, GRIND, and care for her elderly patients in particular. Although we call her "the Machine," or "Emboss," she is my goofiest friend - next to Hunter.
Co-Best Man
Jackson has been Hunters brother for 24 years, and the first 12 of them were more difficult than Hunter would like to admit. Despite being the youngest, Jackson is the most mature, grounded, and memorized the entire periodic table at the age of 8. Jackson is currently attending Law school at Seattle University, and has a lot of very strong opinions, so if you're interested in a wide range of conversation, He is here for you!
Maid of Honor
Tiffany and Lily first met in orientation in medical school and was roommates with Beverly. Tiff is reliable, kind, and a great person to have deep, reflective conversations with. She is also pound for pound, the strongest person Lily knows. She and Lily are both headed to Oakland next year and they're excited to conquer the city together!
Groomsman
Brandon and Hunter first met in 1st grade, and their friendship has been solid ever since. Hunter's best memories with Brandon are beating Max and Jordan in basement basketball 90% of the time. Unselfish and kind, Brandon continued to pass Hunter the ball even when his no-look passes bounced off of his hands or missed the hoop entirely. Brandon is a demon on the dance floor and a great father, so hit him up for any questions about fatherhood.
Bridesmaid
Lily met Kelley through Hunter. Lily is so happy that she gets to add Kelley as a "sister" by marriage. They've bonded through their love of Taylor Allison Swift (and also the Hudgins brothers). Lily loves Kelley's warmth, open affection, and enthusiasm for life. One day they hope to have a farm for Kelley's horse, Hank, to roam and adopt senior dogs.
Groomsman
Nick is one of Hunter's most loyal and kind friends...once you've got to know him. Along with Hunter, Nick was a member of the Vaunted "Fat Five", perennial stalwarts on the offensive line, known more for their achievements off the field than on it. Nick currently lives in Boston, MA with his wife Maggie. He is a tortured Chicago Bears fan, so please be nice to him, and he will return the favor.
Bridesman
Michael is technically Lily's cousin but they're closer to brother and sister. Michael and Lily used to spend summers in China together, fighting and eating each others food, but now they bond over board games and more food. Michael works in Tech in San Francisco so they will be spending plenty of time together while Lily is in Oakland.
Groomsman
Zane and Hunter talk every day, and unfortunately for Lily and Zane's wife Logan, try to play video games together every day too. Zane and Hunter first met in 8th grade and have been close friends ever since, fiercely debating the Seahawks and Politics. While Hunter is always right, he appreciates Zane's view of the world and his loyalty to his family and friends.
Bridesmaid
Belinda and Lily have been family friends for most of their lives, and when they are able to get together its like no time has passed at all. Lily grew up copying her in everything she did, except growing past 5'8. Belinda is an attorney at the same firm as Lily's sister Mimi, so these family friends are staying close!
Groomsman
Hunter's roommate all 4 years of college, George and Hunter are very proud that they were the only roommate pair that lasted all four years out of their class at Holy Cross. Despite some testosterone fueled fights, George and Hunter talk nearly every day and spent blood, sweat and tears together, which brings them together. George has an adorable daughter with his wife Emily, and their own home near Emily's family in Michigan, though we're sure he would rather live closer to his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
Bridal Attendant
Adri and Lily first met at Wellesley as a member of the Wellesley Whiptails ultimate frisbee team. They grew close as each other's dates to formals and roommates in their sophomore year. Adri is incredibly creative and loyal. Lily had a blast exploring NYC with Adri after college and is so happy that Adri could make the trip from across the country to be in the bridal party.
Groomsman
Kyle dances to the beat of his own drum, and unfortunately for him, often poorly. However, Kyle is loyal, smart and capable. Along with Nick, George and Hunter, Kyle was co-father to Doug the Puggle, and taught him everything he knows. Kyle was pound for pound the most athletic player that Hunter has ever seen and specifically remembers Kyle making him a better player in practice. Honorable mention his kickoff return against Georgetown. Kyle currently lives in New Jersey.
Groomsman
Trey and Hunter first met in 1st grade, but became close in 8th grade. They lived within walking distance, and often walked to each other's houses to hang out. They have remained close, and Hunter enjoys their monthly catchups and Trey's ability to plan and keep in touch with all of their friends. Trey and Hunter also lived together in Capitol Hill and Seattle where they cheered on the Huskies and enjoyed Teriyaki Madness nearly every weekend. Trey currently lives in New York City but don't ask him about it, you may never get out of that conversation.
