Things To Do

Welcome to Apple Country! Birthplace of Johnny Apppleseed... AND home of Jackie and Hunter. These two lovebirds grew up right here in these here woods, so why not check out some places near and dear to their hearts? 1.) Go for a hike or drive up Mt. Wachusett in Princeton (30 Minutes away). Take in some amazing views from atop the ski hill (actually, a mountain by 6 feet!) where we both fell in love with the sport. About 3 miles away, imagine a young Jackie being woken up by a squirt gun before a big ski race... Now, she just needs a lot of coffee! 2.) Go apple picking! Nashoba Valley Winery in Bolton was Hunter's first job raking apples and yelling at kids climbing in the apple trees. It is located less than a mile away from Schultz Farm and offers apple picking, as well as wine and beer tasting. Grab a drink and look out over the baseball field where Hunter learned to pitch a curve and the school where he learned other (less important) stuff.
