Hunter and Emma have known each other for close to twelve years. Hunter was Emma's brother Maris's best friend and quickly became an honorary member of the Beigel family. In their later years of knowing one another, Emma tagged along with her brother to hang out with him and his friends. Emma and Hunter almost always found themselves isolated from the party talking about building projects Hunter was working on, or Emma's set designing with the ballet company. They always found themselves in effortless conversation and began their own independent friendship. When Maris and his now wife, Mollie got married, they put their heads together and decided they would give Emma and Hunter the opportunity to spend more time with one another and they paired the two to walk down the aisle together at their wedding. All it took was one dance at the reception for Hunter and Emma to realize there was far more between the two than just friendship. They quickly planned their first date. On November 24th, 2017 Emma and Hunter made the effortless decision to go all in on the idea of a relationship. They made trips back and forth visiting one another in Maryland and Indianapolis until Emma decided she was ready to come home and join Hunter on the Eastern Shore. During the Beigel's annual Outer Banks vacation (a trip Hunter had joined the family on for years) Hunter got down on one knee during a sunset beach walk. Every part of Emma's heart said yes! With a crisp high five Hunter slid that ring on. With their beloved pup Ferris they work each day to make one another feel happy, supported, valued and loved. They have one beautiful life ahead.
