The Town Dock is a great place for people watching and for a view of the entire harbor. To the left of the Town Dock is the Chappaquiddick Ferry, which you can walk on to or take a car or bike onto and explore Chappaquiddick. Chappaquidick, or Chappy, is a beautiful little island with a lot of protected land to explore, and is home to the famous Ted Kennedy Dyke Bridge scandal.
Lighthouse Beach is a public beach on Edgartown Harbor that is perfect for a beach day! Free parking is available along North Water Street.
South Beach is one of the busier beaches on the island, so if you plan to go, arrive early as parking is limited. The waves can be rough with strong tides, and you are bound to see at least one seal while you are there...which means that there is most likely a shark or two in the neighborhood. Swim at your own risk!
19 Raw is one of the best restaurants in Edgartown - perfect spot for an early evening beverage, oysters, and fries! While they do not accept reservations, you can join a waitlist and hang out at the bar.

The Quarterdeck is a very casual Edgartown staple, serving hamburgers, grilled cheese, chicken tenders to go. Perfect spot to grab an easy lunch or dinner to bring to Town Dock!
Morning Glory Farm is a quick bike ride or drive from Edgartown, and has an amazing selection of freshly grown fruit, vegetables, and flowers, as well as locally made food. There is also a food truck on site serving breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Great spot to stock up for a beach day or for a rainy day outing!
