Birkdale Village Shopping Center
This shopping center has a ton of shops and restaurants. Everything in the village is within walking distance once parked! Great places to shop, get a drink, a bite to eat and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
U.S. National Whitewater Center
This is one of our favorite places to go! Whether you're looking to sit back, relax and watch the rafts go by, jump in on one of the many activities they have to offer, or go to their restaurant or outdoor bars, this is a great place to visit! They offer whitewater rafting, obstacle courses, zip-lining, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking on the river, mountain biking trails, and so much more! If you aren't familiar to the Charlotte area, we would recommend this as top of the list to do!
Topgolf
Whether you're a golfer a not, TopGolf is a fun place for everyone! It's a driving range type of set-up with three levels of fun. Each bay can fit 6 players! They offer a restaurant and bar as well.
Trackhouse Motorplex
Outdoor go-karting for ages 18+! One of Hunters go-to's with his friends!
The Puttery
Grab a drink at the bar when you walk in and make your way down one of the two 9-hole indoor golf courses they have to offer. FYI, it is 21+.
Apps & Taps
This is a lakefront bar and grill tucked in a corner of the lake. We love to grab a drink and a few appetizers and sit on the outdoor patio and watch as the boats come in. Definitely a fun place to eat if you're wanting to enjoy a view of the water!
Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse
One of our favorite go to's! Casual bar and grill with a variety of food and drinks. There are multiple different locations all around the Charlotte area.
Famous Toastery Mooresville
A great breakfast/brunch spot!
