As much as we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements to celebrate with us!
Our intention for the wedding weekend is to keep it intimate and intentional. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
Please visit the Travel/Schedule tab for full details on each day of the weekend. If you have any additional questions that aren’t addressed there, feel free to reach out to either of us 🙂
We recommend as soon as possible, as rooms can be limited at Acantilados. However, we will need to have a definite count of our guests who will be attending by May 2026. Flights can be booked at anytime.
There are many Airbnb options in the El Tunco area. If you’d like advice on where to look, please reach out to us or our wedding planner Gabby! Transportation will be provided from nearby Airbnbs, and Uber is also very accessible. Guests staying elsewhere are welcome to join us at Acantilados during the day and use the amenities—just please let us know if you’re considering this option.
Our biggest tip is to keep an open mind and embrace everything this beautiful country has to offer. We also recommend bringing small cash bills ($1s, $5s, $10s), as they’re very helpful for getting around and tipping.
Yes! Transportation will be provided for wedding weekend events, including travel to and from Acantilados and select nearby Airbnbs. Pickup times may vary to accommodate all guests. Uber is also widely available and easy to use in the area if you prefer.
A valid passport is required to travel to El Salvador. Most travelers do not need a visa for short stays, but please be sure your passport is valid for the duration of your trip. We recommend checking current travel requirements based on your country of residence.
El Salvador has a warm, tropical climate year-round. You can expect daytime temperatures in the [70s–90s°F] and cooler evenings near the coast. We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and light layers for nighttime.
We completely understand this question! El Salvador has become a popular destination in recent years, especially in coastal areas like El Tunco. We’ll be staying in well-traveled areas, and transportation will be coordinated for wedding events. As always, we recommend exercising normal travel awareness and following local guidance.
Absolutely! El Tunco and the surrounding areas offer surfing, beach clubs, waterfalls, volcano hikes, great food, and vibrant nightlife. If you’re interested in extending your trip or exploring more of the country, we’re happy to share recommendations.
