Brook was born and raised in Lafayette, IN. She grew up raising/showing dairy goats every weekend and has a love for all things agriculture-related. Brook received her degree in Agribusiness at Purdue University. She has been working for Purdue University since 2022, currently working in HR Benefits Data. She enjoys taking walks/hiking with Jack, shopping, photography, and rooting for the Boilermakers. Purdue holds a special place in her heart as that is where she met her better half. You can find Brook partying it up all night long with her friends and family and celebrating with her future husband!
Jack Hulst
Groom
Jack Hulst was born in St. Charles, IL on September 14th, 2000. He lived in St. Charles for his entire childhood until he went to Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana. Jack grew up racing RC Cars, playing basketball and football with his friends in the neighborhood, and playing a lot of video games with his close friends. From a young age, Jack has been into cars and is obsessed with Camaros. He was also a huge fan of the TV series “The Flash” based on the comic book character. Jack went to Purdue to study selling and sales and currently works for All State Fastener in Sales & Business Development. Jack is passionate about making connections and working harder than anyone else to achieve his goals. Jack met Brook Lahrman on September 18th, 2022 in the fall of his senior year at Purdue.
John & Kim Lahrman
Bride's Parents
John and Kim Lahrman have been married since June 6th, 1992. They have two children, Brooklynn Lahrman and Haylee Grigsby. They raised their family in Lafayette, IN where they had a small farm with goats, ducks, and pigeons. Most of Brook & Haylee's childhood was spent in the barn but as they got older, their family vacations were spent out West, mostly Arizona. We are so thankful for the childhood they gave us and how they raised us to be great people. Brook and Jack are so grateful and blessed to have the support and love from the Lahrman family on their wedding day and appreciate all they have helped with for the big day. We love you both bunches!
Greg & Jeanne Hulst
Groom's Parents
Greg and Jeanne Hulst have been married since May 7th, 1994. They were born and raised in the Chicagoland area. They have a son, Jack, and a daughter Katelyn. They raised their family in St. Charles, IL, and gave them an amazing childhood. Jack and Brook appreciate all the love and support throughout their relationship and the many years to come. We wouldn’t be here today without you; we love you both so much and can’t wait to have you to lean on.
Haylee Grigsby
Maid of Honor
Haylee is the best sister Brook could ever ask for and has been her BFF since birth. They have gone through many milestones together such as showing/raising goats, living together during college, and lots of shopping trips! They spent a good portion of our childhood out in the barn either fitting goats, feeding/milking, or blasting some good tunes while we cleaned out the stalls. Brook is very proud to call Haylee her sister and is so thankful to have her standing by her side on the big day. Haylee is outgoing, and kind, and can be found breaking it down to the Cupid Shuffle at the wedding.
Ben McCurley
Best Man
Ben and Jack have been best friends since they met in 6th Grade back in 2012 and they’ve been like brothers ever since. We had a few classes together and became instant friends when we found out we both played Xbox. Halo was what brought us together and we still play to this day on Halo Infinite. Ben and I have stayed friends throughout high school and college, hanging out whenever I am in St. Charles. Our go-to spot is Red Robin (The Royal Red Robin Burger slaps). Ben and I have created so many memories over the last 12 years of our friendship, I couldn’t stand up and marry my best friend without my brother next to me. At the wedding, you will find Ben break dancing in his suit and tie and organizing the cupid shuffle.
Sophie Bailey
Bridesmaid
Sophie is one of Brook’s many cousins on the Lahrman side. Sophie and Brook grew up spending lots of time together. One of their favorite things to do growing up was sleepovers at each other’s houses where you could find them playing with Sweet Streets & Webkinz, having movie nights with yummy snacks (sometimes homemade), and cracking jokes all night long. Sophie is such an incredibly sweet person and we are very thankful to have Sophie a part of the big day. You will find Sophie laughing and busting out some sweet moves on the dance floor!
Blake Bittner
Groomsman
Blake and Jack have been close friends since 6th grade. We first met when he moved to St. Charles in 5th grade, but didn’t become close friends until 7th grade. We started becoming friends after we played each other in a video game, Call of Duty Ghosts. He thought I was cheating but I was just better. After that, we have been good friends since 2013. My favorite memory with Blake is staying up way too late and playing video games at each other's house. Blake and I both share a passion for Cars and Music, he drives a 2008 Subaru WRX STI and Jack achieved his dream of owning a 2017 Camaro SS. One day, we will race and he will think I’m cheating.. again. Blake has been a close friend for many years and many more to come. I couldn’t stand up there without him. At the wedding, you will find Blake hyping up the wedding party and getting the guests to join in on the action.
Alyssa Rice

Alyssa and Brook have been best friends since 6th grade when they met in one of the classes they had together in middle school in 2011. We share many of the same interests and both showed goats growing up. Some of our best memories are rooming together freshman year of college, weekly Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant dinner dates, watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette, and yearly trips to Brown County, Indiana. Alyssa has been in Brook’s life for all the ups and downs, which Brook is eternally grateful for. So excited to have her be a part of our wedding!
Alex Felski
Groomsman
Alex and Jack have known each other since we were born. Alex is a close family friend and basically a brother to me. Alex and I both share a love for snowmobiling, cars and guns. Alex and I have been on countless snowmobiling trips and played hours of video games together. My favorite memories with Alex are our snowmobile trips to northern Wisconsin and ripping up the trails and racing our sleds on the lake. The amount of inside jokes we have could take up an entire page. Alex is currently an electrician and works jobs all over Illinois. We have so many good memories together from family birthday parties to messing around in the garage. With many more great memories to come, I couldn’t stand up without him. At the wedding, you will find Alex requesting all the country songs and getting the crowd to line dance.
Katelyn Hulst

Katelyn is Jack’s sister and Brook’s future sister-in-law. Katelyn is one of the nicest people Brook has ever met and welcomed her into their family with open arms and made her feel at home. We are so happy to have her be a part of our day and stand up there with us. You will find Katelyn killing it on the dance floor and having a great time!
Vinnie Vuskalns

Vinnie and Jack met after BGR through our friend Chris at Purdue and have been good friends ever since. We have bonded over poker nights, road trips, and concerts. Vinnie and I share a love for video games, music and just messing around. I have countless amazing memories with Vinnie from our time at Purdue and I wouldn’t trade that for anything, my favorite memories are poker nights and taking all of Vinnie's hard-earned dollars. I can’t wait for him to stand up with me and create yet another memory in that bank of life. At the wedding, you will find Vinnie telling stories about our friendship and making friends with everyone.
Ruthie Lamaster

Ruthie and Brook met through showing/raising goats. Brook was selling two goats and Ruthie happened to come across them. Daisy was one of the special goats that Ruthie picked up, which holds a lot of meaning for both of them. This started a whole new friendship that has continued since. During college, Brook was also Ruthie’s College of Ag mentor during her freshman year. Brook’s family loves Ruthie and her family and appreciates all the memories they have all made together over the years. We are so happy to have Ruthie be a part of our big day!
Chris O'Toole

Chris and Jack have been friends since Freshman year of college. We met through BGR and instantly connected. After the first day, we went up to his dorm and played rock band for a few hours. Chris and I met at Purdue but lived just a few towns away growing up in Illinois. Chris and I share a passion for Video games and pranks. Our favorite prank on campus was putting old bikes as high as we could in the trees. I can't wait to make another memory with Chris and couldn’t stand up without him. At the wedding, you will find Chris tearing up the dance floor and working the crowd.
Trevor Bailey
Groomsman
Trevor and Jack have become great friends since Jack and Brook’s move back to Indiana. They have connected through their wives who are also cousins! Jack and Trevor have also connected through their faith, love for video games and working hard to provide for their family. Trevor is married to Sophie (Brook's Bridesmaid and Cousin) and has a son named Preston! Trevor loves spending his evenings with his son and being the most amazing dad. Jack and Trevor will regularly get together and play Call of Duty zombies and Spec Ops missions, play poker with the boys and just go on adventures in Jack's Camaro. You can find Trevor dancing with his wife and busting some moves with the boys out on the dance floor!
