We're Getting Married!

Jack and Brook first met each other on September 18th, 2022 at Walt’s Pub, but this isn’t where their story begins. They actually matched on a dating app called Hinge. Jack and Brook matched on Sunday and went on their first date the next day. In those short 24 hours, Brook’s cousin Sophie (one of Brook’s bridesmaids) was able to find all of Jack’s social media, so Brook had a little more insight into the amazing man she was about to meet. Their first date went very well, they sat at the restaurant and talked for over 2 hours. It went so well, when they both returned home for the night they planned their next date for the next day. Their second date was a romantic walk around Purdue’s amazing campus. The fall weather was cool and crisp with all the leaves on the trees beginning to change. They talked and walked for hours and eventually watched a movie in Jack’s apartment. On their 3rd date, Jack met Brook’s parents, sister and sister’s then fiancé. On the same night, he met Brook’s best friend Alyssa (also a bridesmaid). It was a wild night for Jack, but he loved it. After this night, Jack knew he was going to ask Brook to be his girlfriend. Jack asked Brook out on October 5th, 2022 and the rest is history. Jack and Brook had so many great memories while they were dating, watching the house while Brook’s parents were in Arizona for the winter, going on long car rides on the country roads in Jack’s Camry, Brook visiting St. Charles and meeting Jack’s family and friends for the first time, their trip to Oliver Winery and Brown County, Indiana and countless more. Jack and Brook moved in together on September 1st, 2023 in Simpsonville, South Carolina. They relocated to South Carolina for Jack’s first job out of college. Jack proposed to Brook on January 13th, 2024 in the North Carolina mountains at Grandfather Winery. They are so excited to have you all at their wedding to celebrate the love they will share for the rest of their lives.
