Orvieto is a charming hilltop town, located roughly 45 minutes from Todi. The town is known for great dining and is rich with history, including one of the most impressive cathedrals. You can arrange a guided tour around the town to get the full experience, including a walk-through of the city's catacombs, or venture out on your own. Either way, Orvieto is a convenient and worthwhile day-trip!
Bagnoregio used to be a highly populated hilltop town and over the years, weather and natural erosion led to its slow crumbling. The town is now a ruin that sits on tufa, a very pores rock, in the middle of a beautiful canyon. Cars are no longer allowed to bring visitors to the town. The only way to get there is by way of a long, pedestrian bridge. Bagnoregio happens to be one of Olivia's favorite places and makes for an AWESOME day trip!
