Question

Will there be anything happening the night before?

Answer

Yes! For those who can make it on Friday, we’ll be arranging for drinks and snacks from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. at Troy’s Dinosaur BBQ. We’ll have a private space, with a balcony area overlooking the river if it’s nice weather.

Will I need to get a COVID-19 test?

Answer

If we reach a certain number of guests, everyone must present one of the following: a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event, a negative rapid test within 6 hours, or be fully vaccinated.

Can we dance?

Answer

As of the writing of this sentence, yes! There may be some New York State rules but we expect there will be plenty of dancing.

What kind of attire should we plan for?

Answer

It is a wedding, so fancy yourself up a little. Think cocktail hour attire: suit pants and button-downs; dresses and fancy pantsuits. But if you have a specific outfit idea in mind, feel free to send us an email if you want us to “clear” it!

Do we need transportation?

Answer

Nope! It’s all in one space, same with the cocktail hour.

Is there transportation arranged after the reception?

Answer

Thankfully, there are several hotels within walking distance — we’re talking one to two blocks — so we won’t be arranging shuttles. But we have Lyft and Uber in case you’d like a ride home or to a hotel a little further off.
