Cocktail Attire
Mr. and Mrs. Cook will be hosting the Rehearsal Dinner for the wedding party and immediate family before the Welcome Party. The Rehearsal Dinner is a private event.
8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Cocktail Attire
All guests may join us for drinks and light bites to get the wedding weekend started!
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
This event is black-tie optional: Formal wear encouraged, including tuxedos, dark suits, floor-length dresses/gowns, or elegant pantsuits/jumpsuits. I'd love to see pastel colors for women (not required)! Please refrain from wearing light yellow as that is the color of the bridesmaid dresses.
Our ceremony will begin at 5:15pm sharp. We kindly request that guests arrive by 5:00pm to settle in. We recommend coming even earlier to enjoy the scenery. You will park or get dropped off in the parking lot of Entry/Gate 2 off Lakeland Drive. If you would like to uber/lyft you can easily get dropped off and picked up here as well. It is important to go to Gate 2 or else you will be in the wrong area of the arboretum (a big venue). Cocktail hour to follow.
6:00 pm - 11:30 pm
After we say “I do,” we’ll celebrate with drinks & light bites at cocktail hour, before moving to our reception space for speeches, dinner, and dancing the night away!
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Casual park day attire! Athleisure/casual athletic wear recommended.
We know the wedding day will fly by, so we’d love the chance to spend a little more time together and say proper goodbyes. Join us the day after the wedding for a laid-back park hang! Instead of a formal brunch, we’ll be at the park with refreshments, snacks, pizza, and fun lawn games — feel free to bring a blanket or anything you love for a park day. Kids and pups welcome, comfy clothes encouraged. Come and go as you’d like — no pressure, just good company! This is our chance to slow down and enjoy extra time with everyone. Please RSVP if you think you will stop by so we can get the right amount of food/drinks. We hope you can make it!
