As most people know, this is Melissa's little sister, Tara. She has always been a built in best friend for her sister and a fun time to be around! There friendship has been 23 years in the making 💙 When asked what her favorite memory with Melissa is, she said: "when we sticky noted our friend Max's whole truck together and going to prom with Melissa her senior year of high school."

We like to call Jamie our Best Dude! Nathan has known her for the past 4 years, starting in the Symphonic Band at Wartburg. When asked about her favorite memory with Nathan she said: "Every memory with Nathan is a good one in my book, even if they didn’t seem to be good at the time. Weirdly enough, I think my favorite memory with Nathan was getting lost in Japan. I believe we were in Sunshine City, or at least somewhere in Tokyo, and half of our group had gotten separated because some of us didn’t get off the train in time. I think every single one of us was frustrated and a little scared since we were in a new place, but it was so comforting to have Nathan there, knowing that he’d at least be the calm one in this situation. He was also always the calm one when we were practicing for our senior recital. I’d keep freaking out and messing up, but no matter how scatterbrained I became, Nathan always reassured me everything was okay and it would all come together in time. I’m so grateful and honored to be Nathan’s best dude."

Allie has been Melissa's best friend since Kindergarten and it has been over 2 decades of friendship. Allie is a spooky season lover and a fun person to have around, she brings life to our party! Her favorite memory with Melissa is: "Our 2 day road trip around Iowa to visit many caves. Or messing around in Mr. Water's biology class (we love to claim we're the reason he retired!)"

Noah is Nathan's little brother and they were each other's constant companion when going between their parents houses. Noah has been a built-in friend to Nathan throughout the past 23 years! When asked about his favorite memory Noah said: "My favorite memory with Nathan is whenever we spend time together. I’m not going to lie I miss him now and wish we were closer in distance. I love being silly and saying stupid stuff that would make us both fall into a fit of laughter and just look so stupid. I think about him as a very accomplished musician and I wish we would have played more duets together and I hope to play many duets with him in the future. So to Nathan; you will always be my first best friend that I will always love no matter what we are going through."
Laura Prine

Laura and Melissa have been friends since college at Wartburg, they made quick friends over their common hatred of shared classes. Laura's favorite memory with Melissa is: "Sitting in Professor Crouse's classes and subtly talking about how much we hate accounting classes. We would then turn around and sit together in the Den doing the same thing maybe being a bit less subtle about our hatred of accounting, especially in classes with Crouse."
John Hoehn

John and Nathan have been buds since their 3 years as saxophones in Wind Ensemble and in Knightliters Jazz Band at Wartburg College. When asked about his favorite memories John said: "My time as a roommate with Nathan in Japan was a personal highlight in my time there, and there was no one else I would have rather gone to shoot shots with at a Tokyo Sake Mart. I also have fond memories having dinner each week with Nathan and Melissa throughout their time at Wartburg, sharing laughs, eating Den food, and watching Wheel of Fortune. I know these two will be very happy with each other, and I'm very honored to stand by their sides while they profess their love for one another."
Mya & Scarlett
Flower Girls
Mya and Scarlett are Melissa's second cousins! Melissa's favorite memories with the girls are spending time watching them at family get-togethers (especially Easter when she gets to hide their Easter eggs!) Another memory she has with them is going to their mom's house for odd errands here or there and remembering how they would be very shy (they still are) and hide behind their mom.

Carrick is Melissa's second cousin! Melissa has fond memories of Carrick at Mustang football, basketball, and soccer games cheering for Maroon and White! Her favorite part was how he used to have to wear headphones because the crowd would be too loud. Now he's the loudest cheerleader in the stand!
Sammie Brown

Sammie and Melissa have been friends since high school and have many shared memories, like prom, musicals, and many band competitions and numerous food related outings! When asked what her favorite memories with Melissa were Sammie said: "There are lots, I mean we had your birthday parties, when we played man on the sand, our shopping sprees, times when we ditched band during festival season and our lunch dates."
