Our story began on Hinge, of all places! Nathan and Marissa connected after a few witty exchanges, both of them laughing at how easy it was to talk to each other. Nathan, never one to shy away from a challenge, suggested they meet for a round of golf—despite having never played before. Marissa, a seasoned golfer with a swing that could put any pro to shame, was a little skeptical at first. But she agreed, knowing it would be fun no matter how badly Nathan fared. What followed was nothing short of hilarious: Nathan spent more time trying to figure out how to hold the club than actually hitting the ball. Marissa, ever the patient teacher, gave him a crash course between shots, showing him the ropes with her signature smile.
