What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire. We love any excuse to dress up, especially when celebrating love! Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Where is the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?

Answer

Ceremony- All Souls Congregational Church Cocktail hour- Sea Dog Brewing Company- Barrel Room (lower level, back of the building facing the river) Reception- Sea Dog Brewing Company- Banquet & Conference Center (main level) It is about 0.5 mi from the church to Sea Dog.

When should I arrive at the church?

Answer

Please be seated by 1:45. Enjoy the piano and viola music! Parking near the church is on-street parking, so remember to allow extra time to get a parking space and get settled in before we begin.

Where can I park?

Answer

Ceremony at Church- on-street parking is available surrounding the church and on nearby side streets. Cocktail Hour & Reception at Sea Dog- there is parking directly in front of, to the left of, and behind the building, as well as street parking on nearby streets. Pickering Square public Parking Garage is a 5 minute walk, .2 mi from Seadog (100 Broad Street, open 8am-1am, accepts credit/debit and Apple Pay). Please note, the parking garage is closed on Sundays (no in or out) so be sure to leave the garage before 1am.

The church appears to be under construction, are we at the right place?

Answer

Yes, you are in the right place! Our church is having its 1950's wing re-built but we assure you that the interior is in good order.

Should I expect an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Out of respect for the sanctity of the church and our ceremony, we kindly ask that phones and cameras be silenced and put away before entering the church. We have purposely kept our guest list small and limited to those closest to us. Your presence with us means more than you know, so please, we ask you to be fully present with us and focus on the significance of the ceremony. This also allows our photographer to capture our special moments without distraction and cell phones in the photos. We want to see your smiling faces and so look forward to this joyous celebration together!

Will the cocktail hour/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both cocktail hour and reception are indoors. Cocktail hour has a small outdoor patio area, and we'll have a short walk outdoors around the building to transition to the reception.

Will there be alcohol? Should I bring cash?

Answer

We will have a cash bar available at cocktail hour and the reception for guests to purchase their preferred drinks. Our venue accepts cash, debit/credit cards, and tap to pay. We will provide your choice of champagne or non-alcoholic sparkling cider for the toast.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your littles, however, our wedding is adults only. We encourage you to use this as a date night; get dressed up, get out, and have fun! If this poses a significant challenge for you to attend, please discuss with us directly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. If we have accommodated a plus one for you, it will be noted on the invitation in order to properly RSVP. We thank you!
