FAQs

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

We’re using Zola to make things easy! Head over to the "RSVP" tab on this website and enter your first and last name. • Your Party: Once you enter your name, you’ll see the names of everyone in your specific group. • Plus-Ones: If your RSVP includes a guest, you’ll see a spot to enter their name there. • The Kids: If you’re bringing your little ones, this is where you can list their names and ages for us. Please make sure to hit "Submit" by April 24!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’d love for our wedding to be your night off. While babies under a year old are definitely welcome, we encourage you to leave the older kids at home so you can relax and hit the dance floor with us. That said, we know it's a 3.5-hour drive for most—if your kids need to come along, they are welcome to join. Please just list their names and ages on the RSVP so we can plan for them!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to grab a seat and get settled.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’re going for a "High-End Casual" to Semi-Formal vibe. Basically, we want you to look nice but be comfortable! If you want to wear your very best blue jeans with a blazer or a nice button-down, go for it. If you’d rather wear a sundress or a suit, that’s great too.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing an open bar with a selection of beer and wine, along with plenty of non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that we will not be serving hard alcohol/liquor.

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please let us know in the RSVP section! We want to make sure everyone is well-fed, so just give us a heads-up about any allergies or restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) by April 24th.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yep! There is plenty of free parking at River Run Lodge. Please have a designated driver or ride service if you plan to drink.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we’re getting married outside with a view of the river! Afterward, we’ll move inside the lodge for dinner and dancing. Central Oregon weather can be unpredictable in May, so you might want to bring a light jacket just in case.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture the big moments! We kindly ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony so you can be fully present with us. Once we get to the reception, take as many photos as you’d like!

Question

Are you guys staying for the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to keep the party going. We will be staying in the Redmond area through Sunday morning, May 24, and we’re looking forward to hanging out, exploring, and spending extra time with everyone. Check out the "Weekend Itinerary" page for additional information.

Question

Is there a schedule for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

Aside from the wedding on Friday, the rest of the weekend is yours to enjoy! However, we’ll be staying in town through Sunday and would love to cross paths with you. Check out the "Weekend Itinerary" page to see our weekend plans. Feel free to join for any or all of it! Just a heads-up: these aren't hosted events, so any food or activities will be at your own expense.

Question

What’s there to do in Central Oregon?

Answer

Between the resort’s golf courses and river trails, the local food carts in Tumalo, and the world-class views at Smith Rock, there is plenty to keep you busy! We know most of you are traveling a long way, so we will be creating a separate page on this website with a full list of our favorite spots in Redmond and Bend.

Question

What’s there to do at Eagle Crest?

Answer

Since many guests will be staying at Eagle Crest, here are some things to do on-site: • The Putting Course: This isn't your average "mini-golf." It’s an 18-hole grass putting course that’s fun for both adults and kids. • Three Sports Centers: Guests usually get passes to the gyms, hot tubs, and five different pools (indoor and outdoor). • Resort Trails: There are over 11 miles of paved and dirt trails. The hike from the River Run Lodge down toward Cline Falls is easy and beautiful.
