Sarah and Connor found each other on Bumble. She was at home in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of being a downtown girl, and he still lived at home. After a little banter back and forth, they decided to meet in-person. Connor was ending his Dry January in the city with a group of friends while Sarah was having a girls night out with one of her best girlfriends. Connor asked Sarah to meet up that night, and the rest is history.
Fast forward exactly four years later: Connor planned an all-day walk down memory lane celebrating their relationship. They started with breakfast at their first date spot, took Lenny to the park, did a puzzle like they always did over quarantine, treated Sarah to a gluten free Italian dinner, and finished with drinks at Paradise Park where they first met. But the day wasn't finished. Connor had set up flowers, candles, lights, and a projector playing the scene from Schitt's Creek where Patrick sings "The Best" by Tina Turner to David in the courtyard of the apartment where Sarah lived during COVID. Connor told Sarah he wanted to drive by since they were only down the street. Connor parked, led Sarah down the gangway lined with candles, and asked Sarah to marry him in the courtyard of the apartment where their relationship truly blossomed.
