We are requiring that all adults must be vaccinated beforehand if they plan to attend. While the entire event will be outdoors, we’re trying to make this occasion as safe for everyone as possible. We are cognizant that children under 5 cannot yet get vaccinated and there will be quite a few littles at our celebration, in addition to those who are already immunocompromised (including immediate family members). We feel it is our responsibility to mitigate risk as much as possible, given this is an event we are hosting, and we want everyone to celebrate with us knowing we are being as safe as we can be, given the continued evolution of this virus. We ask this out of love and respect to each other — by protecting ourselves with the vaccine (and booster if you can), we form a protective layer around our most susceptible population.
Yes, we would love for you to bring the young ones if they are listed on your invitation! We are expecting up to 40 kids (and have 11 flower children in the wedding), so there will be lots of new friends to be made. If you choose to leave your kiddos at home for a weekend away, we also understand. Put on your party shoes & hit the dance floor with us!
We have a very strict guest list to stay on budget, so our wedding is invitation only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thanks for your understanding.

Please make sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony starts and account for Friday traffic from the city when planning. From 4:45pm onward there will be a cash bar for anyone who wants to have some wine pre-ceremony and mingle. We will be starting promptly at 5:30pm and you know Ashley doesn't like late arrival :)
If you rented a vehicle or plan to drive, there are plenty of parking spots are the vineyard. You can leave your car there overnight if needed, but it would need to be retrieved by 9am the next morning We recommend Uber/Lyft as a safe and reliable option for those coming from downtown. It shouldn't be more than $30-35 for a group of 4. We're also looking into a potential bus/shuttle option--more to come on that!
Yes, please! You can even use our hashtag #HoustonWeHaveAParsons We would prefer during the ceremony that you refrain from taking pictures and videos as we have a designated photographer and videographer trying to grab the great shots and we'd love for you to be fully present. If you're inconspicuous about it though, snap away ;)
Being that we're at a vineyard this time around, you'll be enjoying locally produced wines and beer options. Unfortunately, our venue is not licensed to have any hard alcohol on site, so please leave the flasks at home so the bride & groom are not fined. This is for real.
We're fortunate to already have our 1st home and most of the items we need to "start our life together", but we did throw a few miscellaneous items on the Registry page. If you would like to mark the occasion of our marriage with a gift not on our registry, we'd be grateful to receive a contribution toward our future honeymoon. More than anything, we hope that you can make it on our special day!
