How do I get home after the wedding?
Answer
For those of you spending the weekend at the Carson Valley Inn: we are planning on using this shuttle service to get you to the Venue and back. Please be in the Lobby at the Carson Valley in around 230pm. They will be transporting guests from 230-330 pm. The last pick up time is 330pm so please don't be late! They will then start picking up people at the end of the night to take you back to the Carson Valley Inn around 9:30 pm Other options to get there: Consider having a designated driver to get you back if you are staying elsewhere. Although there are a handful of Uber/Lyft/Taxi in Gardnerville, we do not recommend relying on this. You can also consider getting a rental car or Turo if you are travelling. Finally, if you need to leave your car at the venue overnight this is permitted so long as the car is picked up in the morning.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest" or lists their name, then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?
Answer
"Dressy casual" Think of dressy casual wedding attire wording as a spin on business casual. Dressy casual wedding attire is most closely related to semi-formal attire, and should be interpreted appropriately. For this wedding you will be outside in a field and dirt, it is recommended to avoid high heels that are narrow and may get stuck in the dirt. Consider wedges if you want a heel. You can also consider flat dress shoes or even cowboy boots since this is a barn wedding. With that said, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, flip-flops are not appropriate. If you are going to wear jeans, they should be your nicest dark wash denim and no holes, paired with a collared shirt and dress shoes.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
This will be an Unplugged Ceremony. We encourage you to be connected with us during an intimate event and allow the photographer to capture this moment. If you would like photos of the ceremony, please ask us and we will share the professional photos with you as requested. After the ceremony (Example: cocktail hour, reception and dancing) you may take pictures.

Select the room type, enter the dates of stay and add your information to checkout. Are kids welcome?
Answer
We are very sorry, but we are keeping our wedding day as an adult-only occasion. Teenagers are welcome. We however will not be able to invite children, but we hope that you will still be able to attend and use our wedding to take the night off!
