Our Story

Summer 2016, I interned at a company in St. Pete. I began working remotely in August, leaving the day before Michael's first day as a new employee. "Cute guy starts working here the day after I leave!? AND he freelanced at an event the day before I started!? PASSING SHIPS!" We finally met in September when I visited the office. But ALERT: cute video guy's desk was BESIDE ME. Nervous, I turned my body away for 30 mins before saying hi. 3 months later, he drove 5 hours to Tally in the middle of the night, and we made it official. This was the first of many road trips. November 2019, we road-tripped to NYC. We stopped to hike the highest peak in the Shenandoah National Park. It was 30 degrees with windchill of 10, & we read the map incorrectly; only 1.5mi, but over 1,000+ feet incline, this "very strenuous" hike was KILLING US. We almost quit several times! Alas, WE MADE IT! Cold, windy, but the view was UNREAL! After taking a photo together, out came the ring. At 4,050 ft, I SAID YES!
