We chose the Omni not only for it's good looks and the ease to get over to Lake Shore Drive (easiest way to transport to the venue), but also because you're in the heart of downtown Chicago! If you're looking for restaurant suggestings, here are some of our favorites near the hotel! -Starbucks Reserve Roastery is right around the corner. -Do-Rite Chicken and Donuts (fantastic for a hangover) -True Food (awesome healthy lunch/brunch options) -Beatrix (brunch/lunch) -Jake Melnick's tap (some of the best wings in the city) -RL Restaurant (dinner or drinks) -Quartino (Italian- fun vibes) -Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Snow Carb (pricey but if you're trying to have a hot date night, it's a nice option) -Rosebud on Rush -Giordano's (deep dish zaaa) -Gino's East (deep dish zaaa) These are just a few recommendations of many. We love all of the bars and restaurants in Old Town and it's a quick uber from the hotel. Just find a spot on Wells Street between Division and North Ave and you're set.
