Hi Folks! The RSVPs are rolling in and we're excited to celebrate with y’all the weekend of November 13th! The rules and regulations continue a-changing as of late, so we wanted to provide an update. The City of New Orleans does have some guidelines in place that we want you to be aware of as we’ll be respecting them as long as they’re in place throughout the weekend. Here are the relevant excerpts of the guidelines as they currently stand: INDOOR MASK MANDATE IN EFFECT: Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask indoors when with people who are not in their immediate household. [Note that much of our wedding weekend, including the ceremony and wedding reception, will be held outside] VACCINES REQUIRED Anyone 12 years of age and older must provide proof of at least one dose of an approved COVID vaccine or negative PCR test within 72 hours, including employees, to access: · Restaurants · Bars · Indoor entertainment and performance spaces · Concert & music halls · Event spaces such as hotel ballrooms, event venues & reception halls If you’d like, you can find the guidelines in full via this link: https://ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/ We hope all this makes you all feel comfortable joining us for the weekend. Please know that we get it, truly, and understand that everyone needs to make the right decision for themselves about travel in light of everything as it is. Excitedly! Justine & Dave
In 2016, on our 5th date, we whisked off to New Orleans for a whirlwind romantic weekend. While there we fell for each other hard. This place is really special to us and we try to return as often as we can. It only feels right that we would get married in the place we started to fall in love. It means so much to us to have the people we love in this place that we love to celebrate our love. It's only gonna get cheesier from here folks.
We will be adding details and recommendations to this site as we approach our wedding date. But also please feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions.
