Are there events before or after the wedding?

Welcome Event Join us for a Welcome Event at the AC Hotel Columbus Dublin on the evening of Thursday 9/17, after the rehearsal dinner! More details to come. Late-Night Plans The newlyweds **might** return to BridgePark for some post-celebration fun. Regardless, we recommend heading back to BridgePark to keep the party going!

Cocktail Attire We’re going for a dressy, polished, and celebratory vibe … without being overly formal. Think cocktail-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. For men, dress pants with a button-down shirt are perfect; jackets and ties are encouraged but not required. Choose something stylish, comfortable, and ready to dance the night away!

We will not be providing group transportation, so we kindly ask guests to plan accordingly.

Parking at Darby House?

Answer

Once you enter the front gates, continue straight down the driveway for about ¾ of a mile. You’ll go down a hill, and The Darby House will be on your right. Plenty of on-site parking is available, with a convenient drop-off loop directly in front of the entrance. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted, so we kindly ask guests to plan for rideshares or carpools for a safe trip home.

Indoor / Outdoor?

Answer

The Darby House is a stunning estate with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. Weather permitting, we plan to host an outdoor ceremony with partial shade, followed by an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. Dinner will take place indoors, with dancing to follow.

Adults Only To keep the celebration fun and relaxed for everyone, this will be a mostly adults-only evening. A few very special exceptions have been made at John and Katie’s discretion.
