At the beginning, I thought we would be… But instead, we became… Her answer: I thought we would be a fun COVID fling, but instead, we became an inseparable pair. I literally STILL call the man at least five times a day (during the workday / when we’re apart) just to catch up… lol. 🤭 His answer: In the beginning, there was only an opportunity to make a new friend who happened to have this joy, this energy, this light that she gave to everyone, and the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen. There were many FaceTimes and even more texts before we even met in person. There was no expectation of a relationship; where was it going to go? At that point I was just thinking to the next day. It was the time of masks and social distancing. How could a relationship begin in that? Instead, it became the most wonderful friendship and an even better relationship down the road. ******* My favorite everyday thing we do together is… Her answer: Debrief our days. To have someone listen to my life and witness it alongside of me, and for me to do the same for you. To always feel that support, day in and day out, is special. His answer: The best thing we do together is what we connected over = food. Cooking, critiquing, and eating!! ******* In 10 years, I hope… Her answer: We have it all figured out. Just kidding. I hope we’ve become stronger in our relationship with each other, ourselves, and God. I hope we have a beautiful family to call our own and continue sharing memories with our loved ones, because that’s what it’s all about.
