Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:00 P.M. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 P.M. If you arrive after 3:30 P.M., you and your party will be held in the lobby until the processional has concluded - So don't be late!!

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all indoors! If the weather is nice, however, we will take some pictures outdoors!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire. If you would like to match our wedding colors, please wear something in a shade of blue, purple, black, or gold! The ceremony and reception will be held completely indoors.

Question

Is the ceremony at the same venue as the reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all being held at The Mill Top. Everything is in the same location so you won't have to commute between separate venues.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will list exactly who is invited. If it says (your name) and guest, then a date for you has been accounted for. If you have questions about who from your household is invited, text or call us!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/ reception?

Answer

Yes! We have complimentary parking in the lots surrounding the venue. There will be parking attendants on duty to help direct parking day-of.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are asking that children not be brought to the wedding ceremony or reception. If you are in a household that has children, your invitation should indicate exactly who is invited. If you have further questions about who in your household is invited, feel free to contact us! Think of it as a parents’ night out ;)

Question

Will there be a send-off?

Answer

Yes! The send-off will be a bubble send-off and will take place immediately following the ceremony, before cocktail hour. The couple has opted for a "fake send-off" to allow for all guests to be a part of the moment! Further instructions will be given day-of.

Question

Will there be accommodations for those with food allergies?

Answer

When you RSVP through this website, you will see a spot to list any allergies that you or someone in your party may have. We will send that list to our chefs prior to the wedding day to make sure everyone is taken care of accordingly! If you have a serious allergy concern, please feel free to contact the bride (317-703-0478) or the groom (317-385-7361) and we can work with our event staff to make accommodations as needed! :)

Question

Will there be accommodations for those that have mobility issues?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces are located on the second floor of the venue. There are elevators to accommodate those who cannot comfortably use stairs. Our space itself does not have any steps or obstacles that would prevent someone with mobility issues from being able to maneuver the space easily. If you have questions regarding your specific situation, feel free to contact us!

Question

Will there be accommodations for those that smoke?

Answer

Yes! Our room has a staircase which leads directly down to a designated smoking area outside the west side of the building.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The wedding shower will be held in August and the ladies invited to this event will receive separate invitations with specific instructions to RSVP for the event. If you are invited to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, you be notified of this and asked to RSVP in a separate manner from the ceremony and reception at a later time.
