Our Stars Aligned - We’re Getting Married!

Nick played football and baseball throughout his childhood and through high school. In high school, he also earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Nick graduated from Noblesville High School in 2017 and Ball State University in Spring 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice/Criminology and a double-minor in Computer Security and Emergency Management/Homeland Security. Nick currently works as a certified pharmacy technician. Nick’s favorite things include the Arizona Cardinals, Lil Wayne, the color purple, and watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Emma was a dancer for 10 years from elementary school through high school. She graduated from Noblesville High School in 2019 and graduated from Ball State University in Spring 2022 with a B.S. in Psychological Science and a minor in Infant & Toddler Specialization. Emma is also an alumni member of the Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at BSU. Emma currently is a bridal stylist at Sophia's Bridal and Tux in Keystone. Her favorite things include yoga, puzzles, houseplants, bunnies, and anything and everything Disney!

Nick and Emma are two years apart (Emma is younger) and met when Emma was a sophomore and Nick was a senior in high school. After Nick graduated, the two took on a long-distance relationship for 2 years when Nick left to attend Ball State University. By the time Emma was looking at colleges, she knew being with Nick was a priority and decided to follow in his footsteps. The two have been living together for close to a year now, and currently live in an apartment in Carmel, IN. The couple enjoys cooking meals together, watching Marvel and Star Wars TV series, people-watching on their patio, and working out! More than anything, they love learning from each other and constantly try to find the joy in the little moments, like going to the grocery store together or baking muffins at 1 A.M. After 5 fun-filled years together, these two are ready to make things official!

We met due to a mission trip we had both signed up for that took us to Give Kids the World in Florida over spring break in high school! We began getting to know each other over Snapchat before the trip. After realizing we got along really well, we decided to go to prom together as friends since Nick’s mom really wanted him to go to his senior prom. Well, after spending a week together during the mission trip, we both realized we felt more for each other than originally expected! We went on 3 dates after we returned home; the last of which, Nick asked me (Emma) to be his girlfriend!

We planned our first trip to Walt Disney World together during the first week of January to start 2021 off right! Our second day we went to Epcot and had THE MOST perfect day ever. The weather was perfect, the lines were short, the food was delicious; it was quite literally magical! As the sun was setting, we were on our way to the Italy pavilion to get my (Emma’s) favorite dessert (if you’ve never tried their tiramisu, it’s amazing) and we decided to stop at a PhotoPass photographer right outside Italy for some sunset pictures. As our session ended, Nick politely asked the photographer if we could take one more photo. He got down on one knee, popped the question, and we celebrated with the best tiramisu! Nick knew that I’ve always dreamed of getting engaged at Disney and decided to make my dream come true!
