Our Special evening...
...was a small, intimate gathering of our "perfect essentials". We were welcomed at the door by warm friends, inviting scents, and the romantic ambience of Wax Poetic Candle Bar, candle-making shop! Appropriate as the name Chandler literally means "candle-maker". This amazing space, generously offered to us by our friend Jill Bromley-Sung, was the perfect calming antidote.
A Thank You! to good friend and essential notary, Kate, for signing off on the license. And to the Kent County Clerk for a speedy snail mail of the paperwork!
Introducing our "essential humans"! L to R, the "noble vicar" Benjamin and his lovely wife Brenda. Angie's essential Gene and his handsome partner Keith. My essential Ken and his amazing wife Jill.
"There was one single allowance for 'my person' to take in our special moment." Angie's Mom was able to witness our nuptuals via Face Time with the help of her helpers at Green House Homes.
Introducing our children to the group safely through Zoom! Casey (and Kristi) in K-zoo; Hannah and Ryan in Sheridan WY; Connor in Minneapolis; and Chloe in GR. Looking forward to a "3D" toast! LOVE!!
Our red wines were selected from special places we have visited together: the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Argentina. A Le Ragnaie Brunello made a surprise visit, a gift from Nate's son, Ryan.
A huge shout-out to the team at Terra GR for a delicious "take-away" dinner. Meatballs included because as Chef Clark said, "it's a wedding!"
