Flight

Albuquerque International Sunport

Albuquerque International Sunport is the largest airport in New Mexico, and will have the cheapest incoming and outgoing flights. Southwest Airlines is especially convenient through ABQ Sunport. Taos is a 2.5 hr drive North from ABQ, so renting a car is recommended. Free parking will be available at El Monte Sagrado for all hotel guests!

Santa Fe Regional Airport

Santa Fe Regional Airport is a bit closer to Taos, and serves United and American Airlines flights coming in from Dallas, Denver, and Phoenix. Generally, flights through SAF are more expensive. After arriving at SAF, it is a 1.5 hour drive north to Taos.

Our venue, El Monte Sagrado is offering a block of rooms at a discounted price for wedding guests. Rooms on the block will be available at a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to make a reservation, please call the hotel and reserve under the Hopkins-Mang wedding block, or use the group code HOPMANWED2310 on El Monte Sagrado’s reservation portal (linked with code applied). All reservations under the block rate must be received by September 6th, 2023 and guaranteed with a one night’s deposit in the form of check, money order or credit card. There are many beautiful and unique rooms at El Monte Sagrado! Parking at the Venue

Parking at El Monte Sagrado is only included for guests staying on property. Other wedding guests would have to pay an event parking fee of $12/vehicle/day.

Recommended by friends, this bed and breakfast is a lovely alternative stay close to El Monte Sagrado! It is just a 7 minute walk (0.4 miles) up Kit Carson road to the wedding venue, and in the heart of downtown Taos.
