They caught each other's eye during a psychology class in the spring semester of their sophomore year at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. However, it wasn't until their junior year that they made a connection at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house, where Hope "talked Micah's ear off." They have been inseparable as a couple ever since. During college, they loved hanging out with their friends, grabbing an early breakfast at Hoover, enjoying late-night GCBs and burritos at Marvin's, attending Beta Theta Pi and Alpha Phi date parties and formals, cheering on their friends in the Little 5 bike race, and supporting the DePauw Tigers during the Monon Bell football games. After graduation from DePauw, Micah moved to Columbus, OH, to start a research job in the psychology field. Hope moved to Louisville, KY, to begin working on her clinical hours so that she could apply for graduate school. Over the next few years, Hope and Micah maintained a long-distance relationship, a testament to their love and commitment, all over the Midwest—from Louisville, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati to Indiana, PA, and Pittsburgh. Micah is now back in Columbus, working on the final year of his Doctor of Psychology program. Hope remains in Pittsburgh as an orthopedic surgery physician assistant. They will reunite forever next fall, right before the wedding! Some of their favorite activities as a couple are checking out new breweries, playing board games with friends, going for walks and adventures, watching a good movie or show, and cooking nice dinners for each other. These shared interests have strengthened their bond and brought them even closer. They are thrilled about what the next chapter will bring and where it will take them. They eagerly anticipate celebrating their marriage with all their loved ones on the beautiful island of O'ahu, Hawai'i!
