I can’t attend the wedding but would like to send a card. Where should I send it?

Do you have a room block at a nearby hotel?
Answer
Yes! We have a room block at the Best Western- Dutch Valley Inn for our guests. There are a few rooms held from July 11-12 for our out of town guests, and 20 rooms held for July 12-13. These will be provided to guests on a first come, first serve basis. Will there be alcohol?
Answer
We will be providing wine and beer for guests, but ask that you limit your intake to either two glasses of wine OR three beers. We don't want to worry about anyone making it home safely or causing a scene on our big day. If you plan to drink, please have a safe way home and be respectful of our wishes. We also ask that no additional alcohol is snuck into our venue. It is a far drive for everyone and we want our loved ones to be safe.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is Garden-Formal/Semi-Formal, offering flexibility and fun for our celebration. Tuxedos, gowns, suits, and cocktail dresses are all perfect choices. We encourage you to embrace vibrant colors and playful floral prints! Just please avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory—colors traditionally reserved for the bride. Since our July ceremony is outdoors, we recommend selecting an outfit that will keep you comfortable in the summer heat. And don't forget your dancing shoes—we can't wait to celebrate with you!

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to avoid interrupting the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we would love to have your little ones, we have a cap on the amount of guests that we can accommodate. The only children invited are the ring bearer and flower girl. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a date night and leave the kids with a sitter! :)

Answer
We've carefully designed our guest list to include those closest to us. Your invitation will specify who is invited by name, and while we wish we could accommodate everyone's preferences, we've had to limit plus-ones to ensure an intimate celebration with our most cherished friends and family.

May I take photos/videos of the ceremony?
Answer
We ask you to be fully present during our ceremony by keeping phones and cameras tucked away. Our professional photographers and videographers will capture every precious moment, and we want to ensure they have an unobstructed view. More importantly, we want you to simply sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the celebration of our love. Once the reception begins, feel free to snap away and share your favorite moments with us—we can't wait to see our day through your eyes!
