Hope was working out at her hometown gym when she noticed a very handsome guy nearby. Sweaty and definitely not feeling her cutest, she said nothing to Cody and kept lifting. Later that night at work, she told all her besties about the cute guy from the gym. Little did she know, a mutual friend of Cody and Hope was sitting at the bar and overheard everything! Of course, that friend went straight to Cody and filled him in. Fast forward a week. Hope and Cody were back at the gym getting their reps in when Cody suddenly walked over and asked her out! She swears it wasn’t her finest moment, but he asked for her number anyway and the rest is history. They officially started dating in July of 2020.

For the past few years on Hope’s birthday, Cody and Hope have made it a tradition to head down to the stunning beaches of Rhode Island with their friends for a fun weekend getaway. Little did Hope know, this was going to be a birthday weekend she would never forget! They headed to Point Judith Lighthouse to have a couple of drinks and watch a gorgeous sunset together before dinner. As they walked over to their blanket to settle in, Hope was taking in the breathtaking view when she suddenly turned around and saw Cody on one knee! She thought she was dreaming. Cody and Hope got engaged in August 2024, surrounded by their family and friends.
