Our Story

The Proposal

To escape the craziness that is moving/Labor Day weekend in Boston, we decided to plan an impromptu long weekend getaway to explore Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine. Due to the spontaneity of the trip, neither of us knew that this would quickly become one of the most important weekends of our life together! After an amazing hike through Acadia on the morning of September 2nd, 2023, Nathaniel decided that he was going to propose that night at sunset! Hope had no idea until the car ride when she suddenly noticed Nathaniel's sweaty palms and how panicked he was when he missed the turn off for the cliff! Luckily, we made it in perfect time for sunset and it was the most beautiful proposal either of us could have ever imagined! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
