The grooms Godmother. Although Annie almost missed his baptism due to a late start after a fun weekend in the cape with the girls, she showed up for Steven and has continued to support Steven and all his endeavors ever since. From broken pop tarts as a baby, to keeping an eye on him at the beach as a toddler, cheering at sporting events, and participating in Sunday Fundays, Annie has been there for Steven. Once Kara came into the picture, her bond grew with Steven, to include Kara. Annie is more than an aunt, she is a close and beloved friend. Steven and Kara are honored to have Annie be such a large part of their life, and their wedding!
Lindsey Mistretta
Maid of Honor
The sister of the bride, Lindsey and Kara have an inseparable bond that has grown over the last few years. Lindsey always wanted to do whatever Kara and Amy were doing and always wanted to match her older sister. They definitely had (and still do at times) their fair share of bickering. Kara and Lindsey have shared a lot of things over the years, including going to the same college, pledging to the same sorority, and sharing their affinity for the health care world. Even though they don't live together, they still see each other as frequently as possible. Heck, their hospitals are connected! One thing is for sure, is that Lindsey welcomed Steven with open arms to the family, and they love to tell Kara when she is wrong. Kara is thrilled to have Lindsey by her side as her maid of honor.
Amy Kennedy

Amy and Kara have been friends for 23 years! Kara moved into a new neighborhood at five years old and saw someone who looked her age riding her bike, and asked if she wanted to be her friend. Amy yelled “Sure!” and the rest is history. Amy and Kara have been supportive of each other starting with kickball games in the neighborhood, splitting a paper route, going to the same high school, and sharing endless mimosas on Sunday Fundays. Kara and Amy share not only great friendship memories, but also share the fact that neither of them like to make decisions. However, whenever out to dinner together, you will most likely find the two of them at Blu Karma, eating spicy edamame and splitting their favorite sushi rolls. The two have an unbreakable bond, and Kara is honored to have Amy by her side.
Brianna Quigley

Brianna was Kara’s fieldwork supervisor in 2015, where as much as they kept it professional, they knew they were too similar not to be friends. After Kara graduated being a student, Kara and Brianna went from coworkers to best friends and confidants. When they were working together and it was Greys season, you could find them at Brianna's, drinking wine, snuggling the dogs, and watching the live episode. Little did Kara and Brianna know, their boyfriends (now fiance and husband) were also shockingly similar. When Kara left her coworker for a new job, it was one of the hardest things she had done. Though they promised to stay connected, and they have. Kara is thrilled to have Brianna by her side as she marries Steven.
Krystina Blais

The brides cousin, Kara and Krystina have been close friends since they were little. They share quite a bit, type A personality, similar Italian looks, and their love for brunch. When they were little, you could never find Kara and Krystina separated at family parties. When it was time for dessert, Kara and Krystina would always fight over who got the bigger frosting flower. They also have many camping stories that Kara will never let Krystina forget. As they grew up, they worked at DQ together and went to Quinnipiac together; Krystina made it that much easier to adjust to college. They have stayed close friends, and continue to support each other throughout life's endeavors. Kara stood by Krystina when she married Zac, and Kara is honored to have her by her side as she marries Steven.
Bridgette Townsend

The grooms cousin, Bridgette and Kara made a close connection soon after Kara and Steven started dating. This connection has continued to grow, from family parties, Fourth of July parties, and Sunday Fundays. Bridgette and her family often joined Kara and Steven and their friends on Sunday Fundays or just any stroll around Salem on a beautiful day, which often ended in bowling! Kara and Bridgette always knew they would one day be Cousin Sister-in-Laws. Kara is extremely honored to have Bridgette by her side as she says "I do!"
Megan Johnson

Megan and Kara went to high school together and were on the swim team together as well. They bonded quickly, and shared the same group of friends that included Amy. Kara was very lucky to have her high school and home friends connect together. Who knew that both Megan and Kara thought the other hated each other at first! Despite Amy and Kara's best efforts, Megan loves Newport and won't move home to Massachusetts just yet. Regardless, Amy, Kara, and Lindsey love venturing to RI to see her, and it never seems like time has passed. Kara is so excited to have Megan by her side on her wedding day!
Emily Greco

Emily and Kara were in the same sorority in college together, and lived together in school for two years. Emily always made sure to try and get Kara to go out and let go for more than just one weekend night, as Kara was a bit of a nerd! Whenever they weren't studying, supporting philanthropy events, or at Aunt Chilada's, you could find Emily and Kara watching Law and Order SVU in the living room. Kara and Emily now live a few states apart, but do their best to stay in touch and see each other every few months. Regardless, Kara and Emily have been able to stay close since graduation over five years ago. Kara is thrilled to have Emily by her side as she marries Steven.
Christine Pollitt

Christine and Kara have been friends since college. They were roommates their graduate year of college, and helped each other through those very stressful assignments, and also helped each other finish a bottle of wine! They also shared their affinity for ice cream and coffee. During stressful school and life events, Kara and Christine always made sure to relax with a movie and take out from their favorite restaurants in Hamden. Kara and Christine also share many friends from graduate school, who remain in contact and all see each other when they can. From meeting in a stressful undergraduate anatomy class to graduating side by side, Christine has always been supportive of Kara through the ups and downs and Kara is so excited to have Christine by her side on her wedding day.
Patrick Hennessey
Best Man
The brother of the Groom, Patrick received his greatest birthday gift two days after his second birthday when Steven was born. For a good portion of their childhood Patrick and Steven shared a room and developed the brotherhood bond that can’t be explained by words, but only by bedroom WWF wrestling moves, and a ER visit when a 3 year old power ranger kicked his 5 year old brother and broke his collar bone. Though being close and playing the same sports, it wasn’t until high school when they finally got to play their favorite sport together; football. Although the season wasn’t a success their bond grew in the way brotherhood bonds grow...by an ER trip with the both brothers strapped down on stretchers in full uniform on the last day of practice. Steve is honored to have Pat as a best man.
Greg Ladd
Best Man
It is no shock to anybody that Greg would be a Best Man at Steve’s wedding. The two have been best friends since they starting playing sports together in grammar school. Their competitive drive made anything the two friends did into a competition. If you think Greg is intense in a game of spike ball, just watch Greg and Steve play a game of Mario Party on Nintendo64 for three hours. When Kara and Steve lived in Salem, Greg was their roommate during the summer months. It was during this time Greg and Kara became extremely close friends. They would go to Rockefeller’s every Friday night, and end up at Brodie’s on Sunday. Kara and Steve are excited to have Greg stand by their side as they get married, and continue to be their third wheel in life.
Dan Skinner

Dan and Steve have been close friends ever since they met each other playing sports back in elementary school. While they played multiple sports together all the way through high school, their friendship goes way beyond sports. Dan was Steven’s first roommate post college. While they were roommates, their friendship grew stronger. Even after Steven moved out, Dan would always come visit Steven and Kara in Salem. The two are always doing something, from golfing, karaoke, or even going up to Lake Winnipesaukee for a weekend. Dan is an upcoming rapper who goes by the name SkinDog. His debut album titled “Where’s the Cream Filling?” is set to be released July 2021.
Ryan Shallow

Who invited the cop? No need to worry his jurisdiction doesn’t cross state lines. Ryan and Steve have been friends long enough that when Ryan first informed Steve of his new career, Steve knew he had enough dirt on Ryan to never get a traffic violation ever again. Before Ryan was a police officer he was the manager at Prince Pizza for almost a decade. At Prince Steve and other friends would visit Ryan during dinner hours and often well beyond closing time even venturing to the top of The ‘Leaning tower of Pizza’ after a Bruins playoff victory or two. While Steve & Kara lived in Salem you could always count on Ryan to be there all day for a Sunday Funday. If you want a good story ask Ryan about the four nights of ‘Shallow-palooza’. (Like every story he tells, take it with a grain of salt.)
Luke Mistretta

The brother of the Bride. It is no surprise that Luke and Steve hit it off on their first meeting. They are both sport junkies, and not too soon after Steve and Kara started dating, Luke and Steve went to a Patriots playoff game. Their friendship has continued to grow from a mutual interest in sports to a special kind of brotherhood. Steve is excited to gain a brother-in-law in Luke and is thrilled to have him stand by his side as he marries his sister.
Matthew Townsend

The grooms cousin. While there is a five year difference between Steven and Matt the two have always been close. The two were constantly over each others house through their upbringing. Although the two never played any sports together, they always attended the others games whenever they could. Through the years Matt has also became close with many of Steven’s childhood friends as it would not be surprising to see Matt not only with Steven, but also Greg and others at the Pickled Onion on a Saturday night and then again at The Anchor on Sunday morning recovering. Although Matt chose not to attend the University of Maine, but opted for the far inferior University of New Hampshire, Steven was willing to look past that poor judgment and is honored to have Matt by his side as he gets married.
Kevin McManus

Kevin is one of Stevens oldest friends, dating back to kindergarten. The two of them grew up together on the same street. They would often ride their bikes to each others house, play sports and video games, or just goof off. They also walked to school together everyday from kindergarten through high school. On days where Kevin was sleeping late, Steven would jump through Kevin’s window and scare him up. Steve and Kevin also have a shared love for the Florida Gators, as they went down to Gainesville to see Tim Tebow beat up on the Florida State Seminals back in 2009. Although Kara and Steve knew each other for some time before they started dating, Kevin was the mutual friends that brought these two together time and time again and eventually that led to Steve and Kara dating.
Nolan Turner

If you were to ask Nolan who inspired his professional career, he would probably respond with ‘Gaylord Falker from the movie Meet the Parents.’ However Nolan & Steve have done a lot of shenanigans that most nurses would disapprove of. Having 1st met freshman year at the University of Maine, the two became instant friends. Shortly after Steve joined, Nolan also became a brother of The Phi Eta Kappa fraternity & continued their medically unhealthy, but emotionally strong friendship. Even after college & a few states apart the two would always find time to meet up & greet each other with a coustmary champagne shower. Nolan & Steve have gone to many patriots games together but have never made it to their seats for kickoff, they also never wear their shirts even in single digit temperature.
DJ Yost
Groomsman
The grooms cousin. Having been born within a month of each other Steven & DJ have always been close. There has never been a family party where DJ & Steve have not been seen playing together. Although the games over the years may have switched from whiffle ball to beer pong the two are still extremely good friends. They are also in the same fantasy football league. While this high stakes league amongst friends is cherished, the commissioner (DJ) is less loved amongst owners due to his relaxed policy of enforcing last place punishments. So far there have only been one enforced punishment which was a open mic stand up comedy show by Steve. Never the less Steven would not want this wedding to happen without DJ by his side....also don’t give DJ clothing to borrow as you will never get it back.
