Addison and Andrea met in the summer of 2014. Andrea had just completed her sophomore year at The University of Cincinnati and returned home for the summer. She joined a gym as soon as she got home, and on her first day there, she noticed a group of guys come in to start their workout, as she was completing hers. Addison, of course, caught her eye. He had recently taken a break from his college courses and was working at a local business building trailers. Over the next several days, Andrea noted when Addison would come to the gym and adjusted her workout schedule to strategically run into him. Addison and Andrea spent several weeks smiling at each other from across the gym, and making excuses to talk more and more. One day he sent her a friend request and they immediately connected. Addison and Andrea began spending time together outside of the gym, and quickly discovered that this was much more than a summer fling. As the summer was winding down, Andrea and Addison began their long-distance relationship, Andrea in Cincinnati and Addison working in Sandusky and resuming his studies in Toledo. That year he put a lot of miles on his car making the four-hour drive to Cincinnati and back several times a month. Within one year, Addison decided to find a job and move to Cincinnati. After Andrea completed her degree and graduated from UC, they returned to Sandusky where Addison got a job in his field of computer technology at Hyland, and Andrea began her year-long dietetic internship to complete her requirements and become a Registered Dietitian. Today Addison continues to work at Hyland and Andrea is an outpatient Registered Dietitian at Firelands Regional Medical Center. Addison and Andrea have had an amazing time growing together as a couple, and they cannot wait to continue their journey as husband and wife.
