TIPS & TRICKS FOR ANCHORAGE
Flights: Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) is our only airport in Anchorage. We recommend planning your trip with some extra days to be able to see the sites and experience what makes Alaska so special.
Rental car: We would highly recommend renting a car. There is limited public travel options in Alaska. However, it can be done if your schedule is flexible.
Accommodations: Anchorage is a small city. There are many Airbnbs, VRBOs, hotels, etc. in our immediate area. Travel from anywhere within Anchorage is essentially 15-20 minutes or less with standard traffic.
Activities: Google and Yelp are the best resources for finding all of the fun things that you can see, taste, and experience in Anchorage. See the "Things To Do" tab for more of our personal favorites.
