I asked Brandon to tell me about each of his groomsmen, because let’s be honest, not many men are good at expressing their thoughts into written words.. It was actually a super fun activity having him tell me about y’all, then having him read my emotional interpretation. Each time he read one he would respond, “I couldn’t have said it better myself!” 😂 As interpreted by Kaley: Tyler has been B’s best friend, and really, more like a brother to him, for as long as he can remember! He expressed how thankful he is for Tyler’s friendship, and how much it meant to him, the effort Tyler put forth to stay in touch while a Brandon was away in the Navy; and how Tyler continues to make the effort to maintain their close relationship. Brandon says he can not imagine getting married with out you there by his side, and he loves you!

Taryn and I have been friends since grade school, and lived together as soon as we turned 18! Our paths took us different directions geographically for about 8 years, but we kept in touch, and when I moved back to Tallahassee we picked right back up where we left off! Taryn, my favorite things about you: you are so incredibly thoughtful, an amazing friend, and always up for anything; I love every bit of who you are! Thank you for always being there for me♥️

As interpreted by Kaley: Brad is Brandon’s older brother. I understand that they have grown a lot closer since his return home from the Navy. They recently each purchased 4-wheelers so that they can go riding together, which, *Side note* was a total surprise to me, when Brandon came strolling into the driveway with “Jolene!” All was forgiven once I realized that the quality time they spend together riding helps Brandon feel closer to his Dad. I am so grateful that you both have worked to stay in-touch over the years, because I just know that has to make your Dad so happy when he looks down on y’all together. When I’ve gone riding with you both, it is really the sweetest to watch y’all have so much fun like kids together! Brandon is so honored that you accepted his proposal to be a part of our wedding!

My Katie Girl! Katie and I lived together in St. Augustine, FL for years! I honestly lost count.. We woke up and had coffee and breakfast together, binged the same shows together, cooked dinner together, even worked together (at multiple places)… to say we were inseparable is an understatement. If you invited one, you knew you were getting both of us! I am forever thankful for those memories we share, during those young adult years, when we were just trying to figure out who we were, and what we wanted to do with our lives. I can’t imagine stepping into forever with Brandon without you there by my side, and SO glad You said yes so I won’t have to!! I love you♥️

As interpreted by Kaley: Peña and Brandon started their relationship off extremely rocky, with extreme dislike for one another when Brandon joined the Navy…Two head-strong dudes who were NOT going to be the first to give in, up until their supervisor placed them working together in an effort for a resolution. Eventually that dislike turned to mutual respect for one another, and later, a very cherished friendship. They talk weekly now, and obviously remain very close, as he is one of the few B chose to stand with him on our biggest day!

Suzanna and I were also grade-school buds! When I returned to Tallahassee, Suzanna was right there with everyone else to welcome me home with open arms! I’m so thankful our relationship has grown so much over the last year; greatly due to those same open arms! Suz, you and Josh have gone above and beyond to make Brandon feel welcomed in this crazy, close knit, LARGE crew. I can only imagine how VERY overwhelming that could have been, had it not been for your kindness and support. I can not begin to explain how much it means to us! We love y’all!
Chase Covington

As interpreted by Kaley: Chase (or “Big Chase,” as B calls him), and Brandon met working together at Fastenal in Thomasville. They bonded over their similar sense of humor; cutting up, digging at each other, and digging at their fellow co-workers- Brandon’s personal favorite activity (iykyk). Ironically Brandon and Chase both ended up transferring to different Fastenal locations in the Tallahassee area, which meant they still get to see each other pretty much weekly! Chase was actually the first friend of Brandon’s that I met, and Brandon’s description of him as a big teddy bear definitely checked out! Brandon is so grateful for your friendship and so happy you agreed to stand by his side!

Our sweet sweet Nephew! aliases include, but not limited to: Munchkin Man, Chunkamunk, Grady-man, stinker-stink, Bubs.. the list goes on and on. Grady is keeping up with his end of the deal.. to be EXTRA sweet to uncle Bolly and give him baby-fever🤪

I have been watching sweet Paris since she was in Diapers, and she still comes to stay with “Mr. Brandon” and I every chance we get! I have loved Paris for SO long, and am SO excited she said yes to being our flower girl! (After being buttered up with Her favorites first of course: Chicken Fingers, frenfries<—all one word, and ICE CREAM!) We love you and you sassy personality+ Sweet P! ♥️
Hagan Brown

Suzanna and Josh’s boy♥️ when we asked Hagan to be our ring-bearer at the river, he responded “ah I don’t think I can, im already doing a wedding for Ms. Jessica” (I think was her name)😂 After talking to his agent (Suz) we were able to re-negotiate; and with some help from spider-man, Hagan was able to work us in to his busy schedule!! We love you Hagan Hayes!
