Here’s the Buzz 🐝

Brandon & I both swiped right AND both swiped RIGHT! We had our first date at El Jaliscos after work on a Wednesday night… I was in scrubs, he was in a work shirt and jeans, and we ate dinner up at the bar with hardly ever a break in conversation. It was easily the best first date I’ve ever had! We met up for dinner a few times after that before he invited me out to his house to cook me dinner. He took me riding around backroads in his Buggy, listening to 90s country, showing me places he grew up; while he, unbeknownst to me, had enlisted the help of his employees/friends to set up the sweetest date ever outside at his house! When we arrived, he had tiki torches lit surrounding the flat top grill, set up to make hibachi (you know, Osaka-style with the hibachi-chef skills to match). Next to that was a hammock set up with a view of a projector screen to watch a movie. It was the most thoughtful thing that anyone has ever done for me.. and Brandon continues to surprise me with sweet thoughtful gestures, both big and small, every day! ♥️

The Proposal ♥️

Brandon proposed after a hike with Karson, Lucas, and our new nephew Grady, to a waterfall in North GA, while on family vacation! My Day-of thoughts following the big question: “If I know what love is, it’s because of this man♥️ I’m still floating and can’t quite find the words to describe this feeling. Brandon proposed today, in the sweetest way; surrounded by family, with the most sentimental ring, set with stones from both our family members. I feel incredibly blessed to spend forever with my guy”

The Ring 💍

Ok, I have to brag on B.. He knocked it out of the park with this one. (I diddd tell you he is incredibly thoughtful..) He knows I am very very sentimental.. so him buying a ring was never part of his plan. He took the stone from his Mom and Dad’s engagement ring, and stones from other family member’s rings to build the ring of my dreams. He tackled a lot of obstacles getting the ring made.. all without me having a single clue. It is truly the best symbol of his thoughtfulness & my sentimental-ness all rolled into one!
