LAX is the largest international airport nearby; it's roughly 2 hours away (depending on traffic) from Santa Barbara. You can fly into LAX and rent a car to get to Santa Barbara.

This is a much smaller airport, and tends to be a little pricier than flying into larger airports, but if you want to fly directly here this may be a great option.
