Cocktail Attire — Dress to Impress. We invite you to kick off our wedding weekend in style at La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway inside the Wynn Las Vegas. Think elevated cocktail attire, Vegas chic, and a fun night out with friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate before the big day!
If you’ve received an invitation to our wedding, that invitation also includes our Welcome Party hosted by Steven’s parents, Jon & Cindy Mauer. We truly hope you can join us as we kick off the wedding weekend together in Las Vegas. The evening will include cocktails and a selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres and small bites served throughout the night in a relaxed cocktail-style setting. While substantial food will be provided, this will not be a formal seated dinner. Most guests will be staying at the Vdara Hotel & Spa and MGM Grand, both of which are a short Uber or taxi ride from the Wynn. We can’t wait to spend the evening celebrating, reconnecting, and making unforgettable memories together before the wedding day!

Formal Attire inspired by our wedding color palette — shades of orange, pink, yellow and tan are encouraged. Please note that our venue is located in the desert, so we recommend appropriate footwear for sand, gravel, and uneven terrain. See our FAQ page for additional details.
We have arranged transportation for the day to make things easy and enjoyable for all guests. Shuttle buses will pick up guests from both the Vdara and MGM on the wedding day and transport everyone to the Valley of Fire for the ceremony and reception. Shuttle pick-up time is 10:00 AM. At the end of the celebration, the buses will return guests back to the Vdara and MGM. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for pickup so we can keep everything running smoothly and on schedule. Our wedding will take place outdoors on natural desert terrain, so we recommend comfortable footwear suitable for sand, gravel, and uneven surfaces. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the desert!

Vegas Nightlife Attire — Dress to Impress. Women are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, sleek jumpsuits, or elevated two-piece outfits with heels. Men should wear a button-down or fitted shirt paired with dress pants or dark jeans (no ripped styles), along with dress shoes or clean, upscale sneakers depending on the venue vibe.
For guests who still want to keep the celebration going after the wedding festivities, we’ll be meeting at 9:30 PM at The Chandelier inside the The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. This is not a hosted event and no RSVP is required — just a fun late-night meetup spot for anyone who wants to continue the celebration after returning from the desert and relaxing for a bit. After gathering for drinks, we’ll likely explore the casino, do a little gambling, and head out for some Las Vegas nightlife and dancing to finish the night Vegas-style!

Keep the celebration going with us at the MGM Grand Pool Complex! Join us for a laid-back day of sunshine, drinks, lazy river floats, and relaxing poolside after the wedding festivities. There’s no formal schedule for the day — just come hang out, recover, and enjoy one more fun day together in Vegas before everyone heads home. Feel free to stop by whenever works best for you throughout the afternoon. Swimsuits, sunglasses, sunscreen, and good vibes highly encouraged!
