There really aren't words to describe how grueling and perfect this day was.

To say it was sensational is a vast understatement. From the evergreen trailhead at dawn to drinking ice cold mountain water to scaling narrow ledges with pounding hearts to the weight of a ring dancing in a pocket to catching our breath at altitude to the incredibly beautiful but inhospitable summit to the proposal itself.

Long's Peak was the longest and most challenging hike we've ever done, but... 
We were rewarded with aching feet and overflowing hearts.
