Brett is Scott's "big" brother. Brett and Scott have been close their entire lives and Scott has looked up to Brett and followed his footsteps throughout his life. Dylan is Austin's big sister. Austin and Dylan were long term room mates all through childhood and through post-secondary where they lived together and both attended the University of Calgary. Austin and Dylan have had their fair share of sisterly ups and downs, as sisters with a 2 year age difference do. But at the end of the day, they've always been each other's ride-or-dies. Dylan left Canada to move to the UK in 2019 and hasn't looked back since. She now lives in London and teaches high school delinquents how to do math. Dean and Scott have known each other since they were young kids at Jaffray School, but were encouraged to become friends because Brooke and Austin could not be apart for longer than 24 hours. Brooklynn and Austin have known each other since elementary school but became besties after high school while serving at good ol' Boston Pizza in the summer of 2015 where they immediately clicked. They became inseparable since then thanks to their identical (some would say annoying) sense of humour. Brooklynn is the best twin momma to 2 identical boys, Jackson and Layne who were born in 2021. Mike and Scott have known each other since they went to school in Jaffray. Their friendship flourished when they discovered their interests in drunk-camping and peach flavoured cigarillos. Sydney is Austin's little cousin. Austin and Sydney were extremely close from the get go as they spent a lot of their childhood together in Fernie. Sydney moved to Vancouver Island with her family in 2001, but Austin and Sydney always stayed close and planned trips back and forth to see each other regularly. Brad and Scott have been best friends since they were young Elko hooligans. Brad was one of Scott's major influences for picking up guitar and discovering one of his favourite bands, Metallica. Brad and Scott also discovered what the internet had to offer when Brad's family was the first to get high-speed internet in Elko (ask Brad after a few cocktails). Jillian and Austin met in University at U of Cs campus bar called The Den. They quickly found out that they were both from the same neck of the woods, The Kootenays. They went through a lot of University shenanigans together. Jill and Austin travelled through Vietnam and Thailand together after graduation, before Jillian decided to further her university education in Iceland! Austin and Scott made the trip to Iceland to see Jill in 2019, and can now understand why Jillian may never move back! Tanisha was like a second big sister to Austin growing up. Tanisha spend a lot of time at the Kramer household through high school where Tanisha quickly became part of the fam. Austin eventually grew out of the annoying little sister stage, and Tanisha and Austin have been close friends ever since. Tanisha became a mom in 2021, and Austin was absolutely thrilled to be Tanisha and little Thatcher's nurse the day after he was born :) Although Tanisha is an amazing momma to little Thatcher, she still knows her way around a White Claw! Austin and Scott instantly fell in love with Banjo when they took him home in 2019. Banjo has been the perfect addition to the family, he can keep up with mountain biking or summiting mountains on overnight hikes, or he can also just enjoy a mellow lazy day on the couch. Banjo has been a huge source of joy for Austin and Scott, we couldn't imagine our big day without him! Austin has always been Tom's favourite niece, so when Tom was asked to take on the role of officiating the wedding, he was honoured to take on the task.
