Question
Is the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?
Answer
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at the Ghostrider Lodge. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception to follow will be in a covered area on the property.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
Yes. Our hotel block is at the Fernie Fox Hotel. The block is available from September 23rd to the 25th, with a rate of $90 per night plus taxes. Please call to book prior to August 23rd. Mention Austin and Scott's wedding to receive block rate!

Is there a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
Yes! Shuttle service between the venue and The Fernie Fox Hotel will be available. If you are staying at an alternative hotel and require transportation, please let us know and we will arrange accordingly. Pick up times from the Fernie Fox followed by the Best Western are 12:15 pm and 1:00 pm. Pick up times from venue to accommodation are as follows: 12:00 am, and 12:45 am.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Parking at the venue is limited. If you require space to park at the venue please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Are my kids welcome to attend?
Answer
In order to allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion, with the exception of infants under the age of 1 year old. We are happy to refer you to an experienced baby sitter in the area to care for your children during the wedding if needed.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who's names appear on your invitation. Please ensure you are RSVPing for all people included on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices are put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer for this special time. We would hate to have a well-intentioned person's phone or device blocking these moments for them to capture. After the ceremony, absolutely feel free to take as many photos or videos as you'd like! We promise to share the professional photos and video when able.

Is there a registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a Wishing Well will be available at the wedding, and we have created a small registry for those friends and family who have expressed an interest.
