Going-to-the-Sun Road
Easily the most famous drive in Glacier National Park. This drive isn’t for the faint of heart, though. It’s winding road takes you up to 6,646 feet in elevation (at Logan Pass) and while the views are breathtaking, the sheer drop off cliffs alongside parts of the road also may have you holding your breath — or at least white knuckling the steering wheel! Check out the Red Bus Tours if you prefer to sit back and ride along. Whitewater Rafting
Our venue, Glacier Raft Company, is primarily an outdoor outfitter and we plan to take full advantage of that! As Montana's longest running raft outfitter, they offer various levels and types of raft trips. Book a whitewater rafting excursion, scenic float trip, or a fly fishing guide; whatever floats your boat. We plan to book a BIG group excursion for our wedding guests, so please let us know if you're interested! When it's time to book your adventure, let them know you are staying in a Glacier Raft Co. cabin for a 10% discount.

Shopping in Whitefish
If you are not in the mood for hiking or kayaking, this cute little mountain town has a lot to offer. Plenty of shopping, breweries, and fantastic dining. (30 min from venue)
Whitefish Mountain Resort
This resort turns into an Adventure Wonderland during the warmer months, offering zip line tours, an Aerial Adventure park, and more than 30 miles of downhill mountain biking trails. Be sure to take the chair lift or gondola up Big Mountain for unreal views of Flathead Valley and Glacier's highest peaks. While you're at the top, you might as well grab a drink at the Summit House! Flathead Lake
Such a beautiful lake! Makes for a beautiful drive if you loop around it, make sure and pick up some fresh cherries on the east side of the lake. (40 min from venue)
