Matron of Honor
Katie is my little sister! We have become inseparable as we've grown up, which is something we never thought would be possible if you knew us growing up (haha!) She is the very best parts of me. I cannot imagine getting married without her standing right next to me. She is my very best friend!
Best Man
I met Corban while working at The Kentucky Castle, but he was actually the one that made me go out to Goodfellas on the night I ran back into Holly and our love story began after not seeing her for two years. He has been so encouraging of our relationship from the very beginning and is truly one of our closest friends. Ironically, Corban's mom and Holly's mom used to work together back when she was pregnant with Corban - such a small world moment that our paths would cross with Corban all these years later and he would be our best man!
Bridesmaid
Bethany and I met at All State Band in high school when we sat next to each other, and our friendship continued through our four years of playing oboe together at UK. She was my constant encourager and friend throughout the stresses of college and has been such a loyal friend from the very beginning. After graduation, Bethany and her husband, Tyler, have become our closest couple friends. We enjoy getting to go through these milestones in our relationship alongside such a sweet couple in Bethany and Tyler. Bethany is one of my very best friends, and I can't imagine this day without her!
Groomsman
Tyler has known Holly for over six years through his wife Bethany’s close friendship with her, but it didn’t take long for me and him to click. We are always joking around at every get-together and have bonded over our shared love of all things bourbon. Tyler has been incredibly supportive of our relationship from the very beginning and is such a kind, steady, and gentle presence in our lives. He’s the kind of person who would do anything for the people he cares about, and we’re truly grateful to have him standing by our side!
Bridesmaid
Kaylee and I were the same undergrad major at UK, and we met through a group project on Zoom during Covid. I never thought we would become such good friends just from randomly getting assigned to a group together, but we have stayed so close ever since finally meeting in person after Covid! She has always been one of my biggest encouragers, and even went with me to have brunch at the Castle so I could go see TJ for the first time after we ran back into each other. Our goal was to "feel out if we think he likes me or is just being nice" and Kaylee was the first one to push me to let myself have romantic feelings for TJ past us just being friends! She has been so supportive and in our corner from the very beginning, and we can't imagine this day without her!
Groomsman
Andrew’s not just my brother, he’s been a huge part of our relationship from the start. He’s always cracking us up and was constantly asking, “When are you two getting married?” before we got engaged - clearly excited for this day to come! He also made us an aunt and uncle, which has been such a sweet time in our lives filled with so much love. Beyond all the laughs, we really look up to Andrew and his wife Gabby. Their love, respect, and care for each other is something we truly admire, and we hope to have a marriage like theirs. He’s been incredibly supportive of us from the very beginning, and we’re so thankful to have him by our side on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Elise and I also met in the same group project that I met Kaylee in through our mutual undergrad major at UK. The three of us did not know each other before this project but quickly became the best of friends. I could not have made it through undergrad without these girls. Elise always reminds me to live a little and encourages me to not take life so seriously, which is something we all need in a friend! She was my constant supporter through our senior year at UK, and I could not have made it through without her. She has been so encouraging of me and TJ from the very beginning and loved him for me from the very first time I ever told her about him. She always reminds me of how strong I am and still to this day has been one of my biggest encouragers as we navigate post undergrad life. I can't imagine this day without her by my side!
Groomsman
Nathan is my brother and was the first person in my family to meet Holly after just a month of us dating, and they immediately hit it off. A few months later after a night of drinking, he told Holly "I want you to be my sister!!" and they have been calling each other brother and sister ever since. From that moment on, Nathan has been an incredible support to both of us and is always there with encouragement and making us laugh through trying to make Holly eat foods that she doesn't like. His unwavering support has meant the world to us from the very beginning, and we’re so grateful to have him standing by our side today!
Bridesmaid
Hailey is one of my youngest childhood friends! We met through a mutual friend when she moved to Caudill middle school going into our seventh grade year and have been inseparable ever since. We have lived so much life together and no matter how much time passes or how far apart we are (she has lived in San Diego and lives in Virginia now), she will always be one of my dearest friends. I can't imagine this day we have dreamed of since we were in middle school without her by my side!
Groomsman
Shane and I go way back to our days at EKU, where we first crossed paths 12 years ago and quickly became good friends. Over the years, he’s been a true brother supporting me. One of the sweetest things Shane did for us was helping me pull off the proposal for Holly. After we finished our official tour at Castle and Key Distillery, Holly mentioned how beautiful the sunken garden area was, but we were told we couldn't go back down there since the tour had finished. After hearing Holly mention how beautiful that area was, Shane went out of his way to find a worker and arrange special access for us to get back in, all without me asking. I ended up proposing to her in that exact spot, thanks to Shane going above and beyond to make that moment unforgettable for us. And let’s not forget, Shane is always a great travel buddy, especially when he uses me as a shoulder to sleep on during car rides no matter how short the drive is (see the attached picture.) His friendship means the world to us both, and we’re beyond grateful to have him standing by our side today!
Flower Girl
Winnie is our niece! She is the one who first made us an aunt and uncle, and we love her so much! We can't imagine this day without her as our flower girl.
Officiant
Who better to officiate our wedding than the woman who’s been roasting us since day one? Our sister-in-law Gabby is hilarious, brilliant, and somehow always knows exactly when to drop a savage one-liner (usually at TJ and Nathan's expense - and they usually deserve it.) She always keeps us laughing! Beyond her elite comedy skills, Gabby is someone we both love so much. The marriage she and Andrew have is one we truly look up to - full of love, laughter, respect, and the kind of teamwork that makes marriage look easy (even though we know it's not not always easy.) We’re so lucky she’s our family and even luckier that she agreed to officiate our wedding. We wouldn't have it any other way!
