The Brashears

Holly and TJ met in 2018 when they were both working at Culver's in Richmond. Holly was in high school and TJ was in college. They are six years apart in age so they never saw each other as anything more than friends at that time and were both dating other people. They both had difficult breakups around the same time and some losses in their lives that each other understood well and were there for each other through. When Holly moved to Lexington for college in 2019, they fell out of contact and did not see or talk to each other until the spring of 2022 when they randomly both happened to be at Goodfella's in the distillery district in Lexington on the same night. Holly was out with with the orchestra winds after just playing the season's closing concert, and TJ was out with his coworkers hanging out. Holly was about to sit down at her chair with her friends when TJ spotted her and yelled for her. She was so excited to see him after a few years. They caught each other up on what was going on in life at the moment and then said their goodbyes. Holly snapchatted TJ when she got home and said it was great to see him, and as they say, the rest is history. We went on our first date on May 18th, 2022, and we haven't stopped talking since! Our love story is our favorite and truly is an example of being at the right place at the right time and not connecting romantically until the timing was right. We are both so glad we had those years of friendship beforehand because it has led to the best love story we could have ever imagined and truly feels like divine intervention that our paths crossed years later when the timing was right. We have been together since June 7th, 2022 and can't wait to get married on the half anniversary of us dating. December 7th, 2025, we are so ready for you! Love, The Brashears
