Travel and Lodging

We know many of you are traveling from out of state, and we truly appreciate you making the trip to celebrate with us! Below are some tips and helpful details to keep in mind as you plan your travel and lodging. Lodging recommendations are based on current availability as of January 2026, varied pricing, and higher ratings/reviews. You can look into Airbnbs as well! There are plenty in the area for small and large groups, and other options closer to Seattle. For those planning to commute from Seattle, note that Mount Vernon is about a 60 mile drive, roughly 1.5 hours from downtown. Let Takumi or Holly know if you have any questions!

Flight

Seattle-Tacoma

Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA-TAC) is located south of Seattle and approximately 2 hours south of Mount Vernon. From the airport, you can rent a car, take an Uber/Lyft, or use the Link Light Rail to get as far north as Lynwood. Click below to view the Light Rail map!

Flight

Paine Field

Paine Field (PAE) is located in Everett and is approximately 1 hour south of Mount Vernon. Smaller than SEA-TAC, it exclusively services Alaska Airlines commercial flights from major cities. Rental cars, Uber/Lyft, and taxis are available on site.
