Holly and Robbie met in Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the kind of weekend that already feels a little 'magical'. Holly was visiting with her old roommate and one of her best friends, Megan (bridesmaid), while Robbie was in town visiting his friends Justin, Mike, Mikey, and Skoog (Groomsmen). What started as a casual pregame at Megan’s apartment ended up changing both of their lives forever. The very first thing Holly said to Robbie was that he had “piercing blue eyes,” and it’s still one of her favorite things about him to this day. Between the laughs and the fun of St. Patrick’s Day, instantly feeling comfortable around each other, there was an undeniable connection from the start. The craziest part? They discovered they both lived in Hermosa Beach back home in California. After Chicago, Robbie kept finding reasons to ask Holly out, and after a few attempts, she finally said yes to a date at Bacari. It quickly became “their place,” and every year on March 17th, they celebrate by visiting a different Bacari location somewhere across Los Angeles. They just celebrated their fifth visit together, and their four-year dating anniversary. From that very first date on, they haven’t gone a single day without talking.
