Wedding Ceremony

We have chosen to have a private ceremony with our children and closest family. While we love each and every one of you and wish everyone could come, we are deciding to keep it as small as possible. For those of you not familiar with the Dolly Sods Wilderness, it is a very protected part of the Monongalia National Forest. We respect their practice of “leave no trace” which means leaving it as unbothered as possible. Unfortunately, this includes limiting the size our guests in order to honor that. The Sods is a place near and dear to our hearts! We want you all to have a small part of the experience so be on the look out for little bits of “Dolly” incorporated into our reception!

Continue celebrating with us with an open bar, snacks and dancing following dinner! We are celebrating until someone gets arrested (just kidding!) For those of you who wish to continue celebrating with us s’more, or if you’ve had one too many drinks by then and would like a safe place to stay, feel free to pack a tent or sleeping bag and join us around the fire for the night. We will be providing stuff to make s’mores and refreshments will be provided to top off the night.
